The hallways of the replica Yasogami high world silent and ominous. A yellow light shined through windows of the TV world version of Yasogami high school lighting the halls an eerie yellow color. Though the silence of the high school would break when a faint sound of footsteps could be heard throughout.
Said source of the footsteps belonged to a high schooler of the name Chie Satonaka. The high schooler was dressed in a green athletic school jacket accompanied by a gray mini skirt. The figure sported light brown bowl-shaped hair and brown eyes.
The reason why the high schooler roamed the halls of the school, well it was a long one. The Midnight channel had once again resurfaced upon the town of Inaba, and what made matters worse several of her friends, Kanji Tatsumi, Rise Kujikawa, and Teddie all went missing. Thus, Chie along with the rest of the investigation team reentered the TV world in order to find and rescue their friends and solve the mystery of the Midnight channel's reappearance.
As the high schooler continued to roam the halls of her school, however, a mysterious figure approached from behind the high schooler. Though the high schooler was too focused on her main objective that she failed even to notice the sounds of footsteps approaching getting louder behind her.
"Let's see, Teddie and that so-called Miss President should be in the classroom up ahead." The highschooler thought out loud to herself. "Hopefully, I'll get some answers about this-" Before Chie could finish her train of thought, the highschooler could hear a loud voice call out towards her. Quickly Chie looked up from her trail of thought to see a figure walk toward her.
The figure wore a simple sports gi with but walked around barefoot. A noticeable article of clothing would be the figure's, long yellow hachimaki that hung behind the teenager's back. The figure's hair was kept short and messy and the teenager walked barefoot down the hall. From what Chie could make out from appearance alone, the mysterious figure appeared to be a young teenage boy.
"Hey, you over there! Hold on for one second." the figure yelled right at Chie before stopping right in front of her to catch her own breath.
"Woah, never seen you around here before. Who are you?" Chie remained cautious to the stranger.
"The name's Makoto!" the spunky fighter said eagerly.
"Hey, I recognize you! You were on that commercial from last night, The Spunky Dragon with Legs right?" the stranger continued.
Upon hearing those words uttered in that specific order a sore point was hit with the Spunky Dragon. A hefty groan was released by the Spunky Dragon almost immediately upon hearing the godawful nickname given to her.
"Y-you know just call me Chie. It's less of a mouthful to say don't you think." Chie nervously said hoping this stranger wouldn't use her tournament name.
"Huh. Well, this a tournament after all so it would make sense for us to use these really awesome tournament names right?" Makoto attempted to argue. Much to Chie's dismay. "Also, speaking of tournaments what kind of tournament is this? You were the first person I've seen in a while so where are the rest of the attendees." questioned the Young Fighter.
"W-wait you don't know what this place is?" Chie began to question.
"Y-yeah, I just got here? Any problems?" Makoto responded.
"W-Well, most people I meet up in this 'tournament' always try to insult me until we fight. But you're the first person I've met that hasn't tried to make fun of me." Chie awaited for some kind of reply from the young street Fighter though the only thing that she received was a confused look on her face and an awkward silence. The teenager thought she was crazy Chie thought to herself.
"Say," The awkward silence was finally broken. "You haven't happened to see some new faces around here, haven't you? I was with some friends to enter this tournament but I can't seem to find them anywhere. There was this ninja-girl, a really tall energetic girl, some stranger with a hat. Have you seen any of them?"
"Uh, sorry they don't really sound all so familiar."
"Eh, I'm sure I can find them eventually. So anyway what are the rules of this tournament anyways?" wondered to her opponent.
"W-well . . . Y-you see when . . . erm." As Chie poorly attempted to put the words in her mouth, a monitor from the ceiling lowered. The sound of static caught the attention of both fighters. After a few moments have passed, the static on the monitor clears revealing a large, roundish, red and blue bear wearing a general's hat. The bear appropriately named General Teddie is the one Chie is seeking to rescue the rest of her friends.

"I th-thought that, ugh never mind." a defeated Chie uttered out attempting her soon be opponent to stop using her nickname. At this time the General finally took notice of the strange gi-wearing fighter next to Chie.
"O-oh, Ch-Chie-san your next opponent is this mysterious out of the blue fighter?!" The bear's normally carefree and taunting attitude began to crumble, Chie picked up on the unusual behavior of the general. "H-How unexpected! U-Unexpected! U-Un-Unex-ex-ex . . ." As General Teddie's voice grows to become more distorted the audio suddenly gets cut off as the monitor switches to static. An awkward silence follows right after between the two fighters.
"Sooo . . . Does this normally happen during this tournament?" said Makoto as she attempted to break the silence.
"No, this hasn't happened before. Also, you wouldn't happen to see a person with a red-" But before Chie could exclaim the monitor suddenly turns back on, with General Teddie in front and center.
"Surprise! Did you two miss me?" General Teddie said in his usual comical tone.
"You, or whoever you are, slowing me down with another fight isn't going to work!" Chie proclaimed to General Teddie.
"I dunno Chie-chan. Your next opponent looks beary strong and so beary eager to fight you." General Teddie taunted the spunky dragon.
"That's right! The name's Makoto! I traveled all the way here to promote the Rindo-Kan dojo. My father's Dojo." the Spunky martial artist proclaimed loudly and proudly to General Teddie.
"Uh-huh, uh-huh, yeah." The general said as if he wasn't paying any attention.
"Say, challenger. You wouldn't happen to want your very own nickname for the P-1 Grand Prix, would ya?"
"Yeah, that sounds awesome. Give me one right now!"
"Alright then. Yours will be, the Woman who Embraces her inner Man!" General Teddie stated with a large shit-eating grin on his face.
"Yeah, wait what?" Makoto complained finally realizing her mistake.
"Alright, ladies! Fight like your lives depend on it!!!" General Teddie exclaimed as the monitor turned back into static and raised itself upwards onto the ceiling.
"Hold on get back here you! I want a do-over! That name sucks! Something please." Makoto angrily yelled at the ceiling hoping that General Teddie would lower back down and change her name. But alas to no avail. Chie, noticed pondered why would the nickname would upset Makoto finally putting two and two together her next action would be her next mistake.
"Wait, so you’re not a guy?” Asked the Spunky Dragon.
“ . . . what?” Makoto answered whilst slowly turning her head menacingly.
“ Hehe, I totally thought you were a guy for a sec there. Though looking at you now you look a lot like a girl actually. Kind of reminds me of one of my friends, her name is Nao-“
But before Chie could even finish what she was saying she was suddenly punched directly in the face by the spunky martial artist. Knocking her down onto the hard wooden floor.
“Ow, what was that for?” Chie asked whilst rubbing her check.
“So you think it’s funny just because you thought I was a guy? That was your biggest mistake Dragon.”
“Well, at least it’s better than full thing,” Chie complained under her breath.
“Hey Quiet You! We’ll see who gets the last laugh when I send you flying!” Exclaimed Makoto, though despite her animosity towards her now rival, Makoto's excitement could still be heard in her tone.
“Geez.” Chie groaned. “Well, if I'm going to move on, then it looks like I have to go through you Makoto-Kun. Are you ready?!” Declared the Spunky Dragon as she assumed a combative stance.
“Bring it!” Yelled Makoto as she assumed a combative stance.
Acting promptly, Makoto swept the spunky dragon right off her feet which caused her to fall right onto the hard wooden floor of the school. The spunky martial artist then followed up by yelling "OROSHI" at the top of her lungs and slammed her fist right into the ground. The spunky dragon managed to avoid the martial artists' wrath by leaping backward before the attack could hit her. Makoto's Oroshi managed to shake the very floor beneath the two fighters and resulted in a fist-shaped hole now on the floor.
Makoto acted on the offensive and quickly charged straight for her opponent and reeled her right fist back in the process. As Makoto got closer to her opponent, the Street Fighter aimed a punch straight for the carnivore's face, though the carnivore avoided the incoming attack by jerking her head to the side. Using her free fist, the Street Fighter landed a punch straight for the carnivore's gut, causing the carnivore to stagger slightly from the blow.
The Spunky Martial Artist quickly followed up her attack with a kick aimed directly at the carnivore's chest, however, Chie managed to avoid the incoming attack by sidestepping to the right of the attack. Chie then quickly retaliated by performing a spin kick sent straight for the martial artists' stomach. Chie then quickly charged right at her opponent before leaping into the air and catching her opponent off guard with a jump kick that made contact with the martial artists' chest. Chie immediately followed up with a roundhouse kick that sent the spunky martial artist flying right into a wall of the school.
"HAYATE!!!" yelled the martial artist fiercely as she sent her fist right into her opponent's check. Keeping the pressure going, Makoto jabbed her knee straight into her opponent's chest, the martial artist then followed up with a backhanded slap sent across Chie's face that forced the carnivore backward slightly. Makoto followed up by dashing straight toward her opponent and viciously gripped her opponent by the neck and lifted her opponent into the air and chocked on the spunky dragon.
Chie gasped under the pressure of her opponent though she was quickly released as her opponent placed her back down onto the ground giving Chie a quick moment to breathe. And it was a quick moment indeed, as Makoto instantly followed with forward-stepping side kick aimed directly at her opponent's gut sending the spunky dragon flying down the hallway of the school. The spunky dragon acted fast and quickly planted her feet and skidded backward across the wooden floor of the school. The Spunky Martial artist quickly looked up and saw the spunky martial artist running full speed straight towards her, the martial artist quickly followed up by leaping high into the air, screaming at the top of her lungs, with her right fist extended out toward her opponent.
Then from seemingly out of nowhere, a barrier materialized right before the young Street Fighter could make contact with her opponent. The barrier caused the Street Fighter to be sent flying backward as the street Fighter rolled on the ground before quickly recovering.
"What the!?!" said an astonished Makoto.
"You know, you're not the only with a trick up their sleeves," Chie said with a cocky attitude as a grin formed on her face. "Well, I guess it's time for me to finish this."
At breakneck speeds, Chie dashed straight for her opponent with full determination in her eyes. Makoto could only watch as her opponent prepared her final attack.
"Here goes! My Ultimate Attack! The Satonaka-style secret art . . . " Meters away from her opponent the spunky dragon leaped high into the air and extended her right foot straight towards her opponent, aiming a flying jump kick straight for her opponent's face.
"DRAGON KI-
"-ick?" Chie questioned as her finishing attack was all of the sudden halted by her opponent who parried the attack.
With a smirk forming on her mouth, the young martial artist used her free hand to grab hold of her opponent's leg. The young martial artist then proceeded to smash her opponent's head right into the wooden floor creating a miniature hole in the floor. Though the martial artist wasn't finished with her opponent yet, as she flung her opponent down the hallway of the school. Chie landed face-first onto the floor and uncontrollably rolled down the hallway before ultimately losing momentum and lay face down on the floor.
As Chie began to push herself off the floor she heard the sound of a loud scream coming towards her. Chie quickly looked back at her opponent to see that she's suddenly high up into the air. The Martial Artist yelled at the top of her lungs easily giving away her surprise attack to her opponent. While in midair the Martial Artist reeled back her own right hand, open-palmed.
“HOW’S THIS FOR AN ULTIMATE ATTACK!!!” Makoto yelled out at the top of her lungs as she performed a powerful slap across the Spunky Dragon's face. "Yeah, how about that!" Makoto chuckled to herself. The attack made Chie's cheek sting and it left a red hot hand mark across her face. Pissed off at this, Chie instantly charged straight for her opponent and landed a similar open-palmed slap across Makoto's face.
“Really? That’s it?...” Chie said unamused.
“W-what!?!" An astonished Makoto replied as she began to outstretch her arm and began pointing at her opponent. "I’d like to see you do better-“
But before she could finish Chie responded with a slap of her own, across Makoto's face.
“How about that?” Chie responded. Chie's attack made Makoto's face sting like crazy and left a similar red hot hand mark across the Martial Artist's face.
"Okay! Now you're gonna get it!!!" Makoto angrily replied as she performed another slap across her opponent's face. Chie now pissed off angrily performed another slap across Makoto's face. Which prompted Makoto to deliver another slap. Then the two fighters ended up slapping each other across their face over and over and over . . .
A blinding flash occurred shortly after, filling the hallways with a bright white light. As the light cleared a figure had emerged from behind Chie. The figure took the form of a female samurai with long flowing black hair. Underneath the samurai-like armor, the figure wore a tight yellow jumpsuit akin to a certain martial arts expert. The figure also wielded a bright yellow double-bladed naginata. This figure was a Persona. Chie's Persona, Tomoe Gozen.

As the dragon recovered from the clash Chie looked up to see the Street Fighter run full speed with straight at her. The Street Fighter drew back her fist and aimed a punch straight towards the dragon's face. Though at the last second Chie sidestepped out of the fists' path, avoiding the attack and left the Makoto wide open. Makoto groaned from the pain of the attack, though before she had the chance to recover, the third-year high school student unleashed a volley of kicks straight at the Street Fighter's upper body in order to increase the pressure onto her opponent. Makoto had no choice but to block each incoming kick sent straight her way. The spunky dragon aimed one final kick right at the Street Fighter's unguarded head, Makoto thought hard and fast and ducked under the attack right before the kick could make contact with her head.

Then from seemingly out of nowhere, a barrier materialized right before the young Street Fighter could make contact with her opponent. The barrier caused the Street Fighter to be sent flying backward as the street Fighter rolled on the ground before quickly recovering.
"What the!?!" said an astonished Makoto.
"You know, you're not the only with a trick up their sleeves," Chie said with a cocky attitude as a grin formed on her face. "Well, I guess it's time for me to finish this."
At breakneck speeds, Chie dashed straight for her opponent with full determination in her eyes. Makoto could only watch as her opponent prepared her final attack.
"Here goes! My Ultimate Attack! The Satonaka-style secret art . . . " Meters away from her opponent the spunky dragon leaped high into the air and extended her right foot straight towards her opponent, aiming a flying jump kick straight for her opponent's face.
"DRAGON KI-
"-ick?" Chie questioned as her finishing attack was all of the sudden halted by her opponent who parried the attack.
With a smirk forming on her mouth, the young martial artist used her free hand to grab hold of her opponent's leg. The young martial artist then proceeded to smash her opponent's head right into the wooden floor creating a miniature hole in the floor. Though the martial artist wasn't finished with her opponent yet, as she flung her opponent down the hallway of the school. Chie landed face-first onto the floor and uncontrollably rolled down the hallway before ultimately losing momentum and lay face down on the floor.
As Chie began to push herself off the floor she heard the sound of a loud scream coming towards her. Chie quickly looked back at her opponent to see that she's suddenly high up into the air. The Martial Artist yelled at the top of her lungs easily giving away her surprise attack to her opponent. While in midair the Martial Artist reeled back her own right hand, open-palmed.
“HOW’S THIS FOR AN ULTIMATE ATTACK!!!” Makoto yelled out at the top of her lungs as she performed a powerful slap across the Spunky Dragon's face. "Yeah, how about that!" Makoto chuckled to herself. The attack made Chie's cheek sting and it left a red hot hand mark across her face. Pissed off at this, Chie instantly charged straight for her opponent and landed a similar open-palmed slap across Makoto's face.
“Really? That’s it?...” Chie said unamused.
“W-what!?!" An astonished Makoto replied as she began to outstretch her arm and began pointing at her opponent. "I’d like to see you do better-“
But before she could finish Chie responded with a slap of her own, across Makoto's face.
“How about that?” Chie responded. Chie's attack made Makoto's face sting like crazy and left a similar red hot hand mark across the Martial Artist's face.

"Okay, okay, hold on, can we stop for a second!!!" Chie demanded with her arms held up over her head. "I don't think this is getting us anywhere," Chie said as she quickly backed off from her opponent.
"Yeah, you have a point. Maybe we should switch things up, this is starting to get boring." Makoto joked, followed by a small chuckle by her opponent. "Oh yeah, do you have any more of those awesome attacks that you used earlier? C'mon let's spice up the fight a little, it'll make things more exciting!" Makoto insisted on her opponent.
"Huh, well I do have one thing left up my sleeve."
"Really? Let's see it then!" Makoto demanded excitedly.
"Well, alrighty then! Here goes!" Chie said excitedly.
A blue card materialized right in front of Chie from seemingly out of nowhere, then immediately after the card had formed the dragon kicked the card and shattered the card in thousands of tiny pieces.
"Yeah, you have a point. Maybe we should switch things up, this is starting to get boring." Makoto joked, followed by a small chuckle by her opponent. "Well, alrighty then! Here goes!" Chie said excitedly.
"PERSONA!!!"
A blinding flash occurred shortly after, filling the hallways with a bright white light. As the light cleared a figure had emerged from behind Chie. The figure took the form of a female samurai with long flowing black hair. Underneath the samurai-like armor, the figure wore a tight yellow jumpsuit akin to a certain martial arts expert. The figure also wielded a bright yellow double-bladed naginata. This figure was a Persona. Chie's Persona, Tomoe Gozen.
"H-HOLY CRAP! That is so AWESOME!!! I-i means how did you even do that." Makoto said showing her overall excitement for her opponent's other self.
"Wait what? This is my Persona. Don’t you have one also?" Chie began to question to herself.
“Nope, doesn’t excuse the fact that your Persona so cool! I-I mean how do I get one of those?”
“Then did someone throw you in here then?. . .“ Chie began thinking to herself. "Hey so uh one question before we start, what was the last thing you remembered before ending up here?"
"Huh, well there was this weird girl in a blue hat, she told me where the P-1 Grand Prix is. But we had to stop to go to someplace called Junes, next thing I knew I was here."
"Blue hat? Do you mean-"
“Hey! Hey! Don't dodge my first question. I want me one of those ‘Personas’ how’d you get yours?!” Makoto insisted on asking.
“Well, uh . . . It’s complicated really. It’s also really exhausting when I got my Persona I felt like falling apart for a few days.
"Huh, you don’t say. Well, I’ll stick with my fists, for now, I’ll see for myself if this Persona’s worth it right after this match. So show me what ya got!!!” Makoto said excitedly.
“Alright then!” Chie said with a smile on her face.
“C’mon Tomoe let’s show Makoto what we can do! Mabudyne!!!”
Attempting to catch her opponent off guard, Makoto quickly performed another Hayate and dashed, fist first, right into her opponent. Though her momentum was put to a sudden halt as her punch was blocked by Tomoe Gozen's Naginata. The young Street Fighter's eyes widened as she anticipated for what was coming for her.
Tomoe then followed with a slash attack across the martial artist's chest that sent the fighter flying down the hallway of the shadow version of Yasogami high. The Carnivore immediately followed by running full throttle towards the martial artist. As the Martial was sent flying she focused her full attention on her opponent, though the martial artist noticed something off about her opponent as she was being sent flying. Where was her Persona? It was with her just a second ago, where is it, Makoto thought to herself.
The answer to Makoto's question was right behind her as Tomoe had appeared right behind the young martial artist, though she had barely noticed. The yellow-clad persona then performed a slash across Makoto's back, sending the Street Fighter right towards its Persona User. As Makoto was sent flying towards the spunky dragon, Chie leaped into the air towards the martial artist and performed a roundhouse kick straight across her opponent's face and slammed the martial artist back down onto the ground.
As Chie softly landed on the ground, she continued the pressure onto her opponent and performed several rapid kicks in quick succession towards the young martial artist. Makoto however, crossed her arms around her chest and blocked all incoming attacks performed by her opponent. Grunting under her teeth, Chie commanded her Persona to rush at her opponent with an underhanded slash of its Naginata, breaking Makoto's guard and sent the Street Fighter into the air.
The carnivore pursued her midair opponent by leaping up after the spunky martial artist. There the carnivore unleashed several kicks right into her opponent's gut. Each kick prevented the spunky martial artist from even touching the ground beneath the two fighters.
Chie's ended her ongoing combo by commanding her Persona to perform a vertical slash with its weapon across her Makoto's chest. The attack smashed the Makoto right into the floor beneath the two fighter's and thus a Makoto shaped hole in the ground was created as a result of the Persona's attack.
The spunky martial artist forced herself to even stand up after such a series of attacks. Her breathing began to grow heavier. Her muscles began to ache as she pushed herself to even stand. The spunky Street Fighter now covered in bruises and minor cuts along her sports gi. Her opponent, seeing that she managed to get up even after an attack quickly leaped backward with her Persona following along behind her.
“Alright. Your Persona’s cool, I’ll admit that. Maybe after this, I might want to get one for myself" Makoto said while trying to catch her breath" But I’m still pretty sure I can still beat you even without one you hear me? ” said Makoto with a cocky attitude.
“You seem sure of yourself, you still think you can go a few rounds?”
“Pfft. Do you think I’m going all out right now? I still haven’t gone all out yet, if I’m going to win I have to go all out right now.”
"Well then, let’s see how well you handle this. Tomoe Skull Cracker!" Chie commanded as Tomoe Gozen rushed right at the Spunky Martial Artist. The Persona raised it's Naginata high into the air and brought down its blade right across the martial artist's chest. Except for that the attack didn't even land, surprising the Persona User, Tomoe Gozen's strike was parried by the martial artist before the attack could land.
The Martial Artist acted fast and promptly landed a headbutt right on the Persona's face. Though the Martial Artist didn't notice, as she damaged Tomoe Gozen the Persona user recoiled from an unexpected pain in her head. As the Persona user recovered from her pain her opponent rushed at her with a crescent kick that landed straight across the Persona user's cheek. The martial artist continued the pressure as she followed her assault with several quick palm strikes that landed all across the Persona user's body. Finally, the martial artist ended her devastating combo with a Hayate that sent the Persona user flying down the hallway.
As the Carnivore landed right back on her feet, Tomoe materialized right in front of the Persona user in a flash of light. Tomoe extended its right arm outward, with its weapon in its hand, and fired several icy projectiles straight at the spunky martial artist. Makoto quickly leaped backward to avoid the first set of incoming projectiles, as Makoto dodged each projectile it would freeze a small area of the floor underneath the two fighters. Makoto avoided the next set of icy projectiles by rolling forward and jumping to the side.
As the projectiles stopped firing, Tomoe materialized behind the spunky martial artist and prepared its blade for another surprise attack. Though before the Persona's attack could land Makoto quickly dodged out of the way before the attack could land.
"heh, think you try that trick again?" Makoto said in a cocky manner before she reeled back her fist and threw a punch straight at the Persona. But before the attack could land the Persona quickly dematerialized before Makoto's attack could even land. Confused by this, Makoto looked around the area to find where the Persona had gone, then Makoto looked behind herself to see the Spunky Dragon run right at her.
The Spunky Dragon performed a roundhouse kick while her opponent's back was turned. Makoto quickly turned around and promptly parried the incoming attack. The Spunky Dragon kept the pressure going and attacked her opponent with several flying jump kicks, all of which were parried by the martial artist. As the Spunky Dragon landed back onto the ground she is immediately hit in the face by a quick kick to the face performed by her opponent.
Makoto quickly followed by performing two rapid punches in quick succession onto her opponent's face. Makoto performed one final punch that sent the spunky dragon flying into the air. Makoto instantly leaped right for her opponent and performed Tsurigi onto her opponent slamming her into the ground.
As Makoto landed back onto the ground she quickly ran full speed straight at her opponent who attempted to get up after Makoto's attack. The spunky dragon panicked and commanded her Persona to rush at the young Street Fighter. Though before the Persona could strike at the Street Fighter, at the last possible second Makoto ducked right under a horizontal slash attack performed by the yellow-clad Persona.
The Street Fighter quickly followed by rolling under the Persona and right toward her opponent. The Street Fighter grabbed the spunky dragon by her arms and quickly moved behind her before she had an idea as to what the Street Fighter was planning. Makoto promptly jabbed her knee right into the spunky dragon's back, which elicited a small cry of pain from the spunky dragon. Makoto then followed by throwing her opponent onto the floor and raised her fist high into the sky, which signaled to her opponent that she was going to follow up with a devastating punch.
"Protect me Tomoe!" yelled out the Persona user in desperation.
Before the martial artist could finish her attack, she was hit across the head by Tomoe's Naginata and was sent flying down the hallway of the school. As Makoto landed back on her feet she felt a sudden sharp pain enter into her head. Followed quickly by her vision started to get blurred and the world itself seemed to shake. Makoto didn't realize it at first but Tomoe had used the skill Mind Slice to give the martial artist confusion.
As Makoto's mind began to ache, in her blurred vision she can see a green blob increasingly getting larger and larger. The martial artist could barely make it out but she was positive that it was her opponent charging straight at her for one final attack.
"Get ready for the finale!!!" yelled out Chie. Now Makoto was positive that she was coming straight at her just to finish her off.
Makoto could barely make out her opponent's though her footsteps were all she can focus. The Martial Artist closes her eyes so she can focus on the light sounds of footsteps. The quick and fast footsteps of her opponent became distinct to the Martial Artist, they began to grow louder and louder as the seconds went by. As the spunky dragon comes in for the kill, the martial artist readies her left fist for a counter-attack that to her opponent. As the dragon is only inches away from her target, the martial artist strikes and aims a punch directly at her opponent's groin.
Chie's eyes widened from the sudden strike performed by her the young Street Fighter. Chie winced from the unexpected, yet humiliating, attack performed by her opponent. As Makoto reeled back her arm, Chie's legs began to tremble as the immense pain stung from the attack.
Though Chie wouldn't feel this pain any longer as Makoto readied her free hand performed two rapid punches across Chie's face. Instantly followed up with one final uppercut sending the martial artist straight up into the air at intense speeds.
"SEICHUSEN GODANZUKI!!!" Makoto yelled triumphantly as her vision began to return to her.
Shortly afterward, gravity took its course and the Chie came careening back onto the ground headfirst. But before she could even touch the ground, the Street Fighter reeled back her right fist and aimed a punch right into her opponent’s stomach. The attack propelled Chie down the hallway and caused her to land onto her left arm and resulted in her skidding across the hard wooden floor until she inevitably ran out of momentum. As she stopped she struggled to even stand upright as the pain her opponent's powerful punches still lingered throughout her body.
"Oh man, now I know how Yosuke feels," Chie complained as she began to stumble backward, while holding her left arm in her right hand to support.
“Like I said earlier, I still got plenty of fight left in me, so any trick you have left ain’t working on me!” The martial artist proudly proclaimed to her weakened opponent as the martial artist approached Chie to finish her off.
Though as the Makoto began to approach her stumbling opponent, Tomoe Gozen reappeared by the Persona user’s side. Makoto stopped dead in her tracks and returned to her combative stance, prepared for anything her opponent was about to throw at her.
“Well …” the Persona user weakly said as she formed her right hand into a fist and held it high up into the air. Tomoe followed by raising its own fist high into the air.
Instinctively signaled the Street Fighter to look up at the ceiling. Upon laying her eyes onto her opponent’s final trick her eyes widened from the sight of the attack.
“ … how about one more,” Chie said with a cocky smirk as she brought her fist downward, her Persona followed slamming its fist down onto the floor. What followed shortly was a gigantic golden fist from out of nowhere slammed right onto the young Street Fighter in less than a second.
"FUKIA-" was the last thing that came out of Makoto's mouth before the golden fist from the heavens crushed the Martial Artist. Kicking clouds of dust into the air and obscuring the Martial Artist's body a thick dusty cloud.
A sigh of relief escaped Chie’s mouth as she knowing that her fight was as good as over. Though as the dust began to settle . . .
Makoto stood triumphantly as she countered God’s Hand with her own Fukiage technique, which prevented the Martial Artist from being crushed by God's Hand attack.
“W-what the? Are you for real!?!” Chie yelled out as her eyes widened from her opponent's retaliation. Shortly after, Chie’s God’s Hand dematerialized leaving only a Makoto with a large smile on her mouth from pulling off such a feat.
“Your damn right I’m for real Dragon! Now let’s end this already."
The Martial Artist on the offensive charged straight forward for the still in awe spunky dragon in a single step with her fist reeled behind her back. Barely reacting to her opponent, the spunky dragon instinctively resummoned her Persona to block the incoming attack with the staff of its golden Naginata. The martial artist's fist collided with the staff of the golden weapon which slightly forced the Persona backward from the impact of the attack.
Upon the clash of the two fighters Makoto instantly took one leap backward to avoid an incoming slash performed by Tomoe Gozen. While in midair Makoto reeled back her fist to charge another, as the Makoto landed back onto the ground she launched herself fist first towards Tomoe Gozen. The Martial Artist landed a direct hit right on the Persona's opened gut. As Tomoe Gozen was hit Chie felt a similar pain right in her stomach causing the Persona user to release a grunt of pain.
Makoto didn't stop her for as she quickly jumped a great distance backward and began to run straight for the Persona. Chie struggled to even stand so she was unable to command her Persona for any counterattack. At one meter away Makoto performed a jump kick straight into the Persona's gut, which forced another painful grunt to come from the Persona user.
Cracking a quick smirk Makoto quickly kept the pressure by quickly following up with by jabbing her knee right into the Persona's gut followed by a spin kick straight across the Persona's face. Finally, Makoto finished her combo by performing an uppercut right under Tomoe Gozen's chin. The attack launched the Personna flying into the air and sent the Persona straight through the ceiling of the school hallway.
The countless blows shared by Tomoe Gozen and its user became too much for Chie to handle, as such she was forced onto one knee as she endured the pain, unable to do anything. Seizing the moment Makoto dashed straight for her weakened opponent, Makoto reeled back her fist and successfully aimed a right hook straight across her opponent's cheek. Not letting her opponent rest, Makoto followed by gripping at her opponent's green collar and unrelentingly jabbed her knee straight into her opponent's stomach multiple times, with each knee jab forced a painful grunt from the Spunky Dragon. Finally, Makoto ended her long combo by hurling her opponent by her collar right down the hallway of the school. Chie crashed right into the doors leading to the gym and upon contact with the wooden doors forced them open, which caused Chie to be sent flying into the school's gym.

Chie inevitably crashed facedown onto the cold wooden floor of the replica gymnasium. Shortly after Makoto quickly entered the large gym to check on her opponent. There the Spunky Dragon lay on the floor of the gym, almost motionless to the Martial Artist's view. Makoto's breathing, while heavy, began to grow lighter as the seconds went by.
"Alright did I win? Hey Bear. . . thing, I come on out I think I won." Makoto said while looking around the room for a tv screen of some kind. "Also, can I get a new tournament name also? Something like . . . Wolf's Pedigree'! Actually pretty sure that's taken. Hmm, maybe 'The Precious Heart'? Nope, that's also taken" Makoto continued to ramble as she began to exit the gym.
"Wait a minute a got one, 'The Big Boss'! Yeah, that has a ring to it!" Makoto said excitedly to her totally unoriginal stage name. Though as Makoto proceeded to exit the large gymnasium, a frozen stalactite was fired inches away from piercing her head was suddenly shot from behind her causing her blood to grow cold for only a second. Makoto quickly looked behind to see who had fired the projectile, when she turned it was none other than her opponent who weakly stood tall and confident with he yellow-clad Persona right beside her.
"Y-you're okay?" Makoto exclaimed with her eyes popping out of it's sockets.
"Yeah, I'm just bruised up in a few places, so go a few rounds. How are you?" Chie said with a small smile on her face, reassuming her combat stance.
"Well, what do you know," Makoto said with a smirk on her face, "I knew you and your Persona wouldn't go down that easily," Makoto said as she returned to her battle-ready fighting pose.
"Nothing's going to stand between me and helping out my friends. Even if I have some major bruises I'm still going to keep on fighting no matter what!" Chie asserted proudly.
". . . You know I still don't know what this tournament thing all is about. But, if that means your going to try extra harder now. Then that's Awesome." said Makoto as a smile formed on her face.
"Get ready Makoto because here's the big one! Let's go Tomoe, AGNEYASTRA!!!"
Upon shouting at the top of her lungs the Spunky dragon raised an arm and a leg high into the air, her Persona followed by raising its Naginata high into the heavens. Makoto's eyes quickly looked up to see what her opponent was up to, upon the sight of which caused Makoto's eyes to widen from the pure shock of the attack. A volley of fiery meteors rained from the sky directly toward the spunky Martial Artist. Makoto panicked and couldn't think of anything at the time and thus she was bombarded with a series of meteors. The result of the meteor's impact which emanated in an explosion which Makoto was caught in the center of.
With her opponent disorientated she was finally open to an attack, which Chie promptly took. The smoke from the previous began to clear revealing the spunky martial artist down on her knees with her karate gi covered in ash. As Makoto's strength began to return to her she was suddenly hit right underneath her chin by a roundhouse kick performed by the Spunky Dragon which launched Makoto into the air. While in midair the Martial Artist quickly positioned her body to fall safely back onto her feet, then almost immediately the martial artist rushed toward her opponent with her fist reeled behind her back.
The Spunky Dragon quickly crossed her arms together to block a flurry of punches aimed at her chest. With each punch performed applied pressure onto the Persona user's arms, with each attack pushed the spunky dragon backward by an inch. Makoto quickly mixed her approach and in a fraction of a second Makoto crouched downward and performed a sweeping motion with her right leg. At the very last possible second, the Spunky Dragon jumped upward to avoid the incoming sweeping attack.
Chie, while in midair, performed a jump kick straight right onto her opponent's face causing her to stumble backward slightly. Upon landing back onto the ground, Chie quickly followed with a spin kick aimed directly into Makoto's stomach, the attack launched the Martial Artist backward by a few meters. Makoto looked back at her opponent who at full speed ran toward her, about a meter away the spunky dragon prepared a roundhouse kick aimed directly at her opponent's chest. Makoto, with a grin on her face, easily parried the attack before the kick could land.
Despite being in a troublesome scenario, remained calm and collected as opposed to earlier events, the sight of which confused the young Street Fighter. Several meters behind the Street Fighter, Tomoe Gozen was materialized from out of nowhere catching Makoto off guard. The Persona dashed straight for its target and prepared a slash attack aimed directly toward Makoto's back. Though the martial artist, at the very last moment, used her free hand and parried the incoming attack before the Naginata could strike her.
Now having her opponent cornered, Chie immediately followed with a jump kick aimed at her opponent's chest, which forced a pained grunt out of the Martial Artist. Tomoe Gozen then rushed at its target by performing a horizontal slash followed with various vertical slashes aimed across Makoto's Chest. Tomoe Gozen continued the pressure and swung its Naginata like a baseball and swung the Martial Artist high into the air. Finally, Tomoe Gozen launched Makoto straight toward Chie, the Spunky Dragon awaited and performed a flying back kick ending the combo.
The Martial Artist was sent careening back onto the floor of the gym causing her to skid across the wooden surface. The Martial Artist stopped her momentum by planting her right fist into the ground to prevent any more skidding. The Martial Artist quickly reacted to a roundhouse kick performed by her opponent and immediately ducked to avoid the attack.
Makoto quickly attempted a surprise attack by performing a sweeping motion right underneath the Spunky Dragon's nose. Though, the attack would've been proven successful if, at the very last second, Chie avoided the incoming sweeping attack by performing backward flip kick to counterattack her opponent and knocking her flat onto the floor, reminiscent of a scene in cheesy a martial arts movie.
“NOW YOU’VE GOT ME MAD!!!” Makoto roared at the top of her lungs
Thinking quickly, Chie quickly commanded Tomoe to unleash a slash attack across her opponent’s chest. Though she stood dazed as before Tomoe Gozen could even land her attack, Makoto blitzed the Persona user and delivered an uppercut sending Tomoe Gozen high into the air. Before Chie could even have the chance to call back her Persona, Makoto hurried toward her opponent and delivered a swift and powerful karate chop across her head.
Having been cornered Chie quickly crossed her arms together to defend against a combination of unrelenting punches and kicks unleashed by her opponent. Though Chie was caught off guard when from out of nowhere the enraged Street Fighter grabbed toward Chie's hair and pulled Chie's head toward herself. Makoto quickly followed by slamming her knee right into Chie's nose, Makoto then followed with a spin kick aimed directly across Chie's face, forcing a pained grunt from the Persona User.
The Persona user quickly wiped the blood off her face as she quickly commanded Tomoe Gozen to bring the storage racks closer toward her, this approach ended up surprising the enraged Martial Artist and stopped her in her tracks. Makoto impatiently awaited for whatever her opponent was planning so that she could act accordingly.
"Alright, Makoto. I hope you're ready because it's time to play ball!" Chie said as she commanded her Persona to slam its weapon right into the floor of the arena. the force Tomoe's attack shook the very arena the two fighters causing both fighters to stumble uncontrollably, Tomoe's attack also sent all the resting basketballs high up into the air. There Tomoe Gozen fired each projectile one at a time at varying speeds.
As Makoto began to fall helplessly to the floor, Chie jumped towards her opponent right before she could even touch the ground one last time. While in midair the Persona user reeled back her foot.
King: Alright, let's get the obvious out of the way Chie had the advantage when it comes to the holy stat trinity of strength, speed, and durability.
Void: While Makoto doesn't have that many strength feats under her belt, she's rivals to Ryu at around the end of his journey in Street Fighter 3. So we can assume Makoto somewhat scales to Ryu in terms of strength.
King: During the events of SF2, the Interpol agent hit the ol' Master Bison with her strongest Kikosho that she ever made. The Result?
King: According to this calc the resulting energy output would equal to around 5163 tons of TNT. Enough to pulverize a small town.
Void: We could scale Makoto to Evil Ryu and maybe Power of Nothingness Ryu get an even higher number, but let's face it that's a dumb thing to do and she never even fought Evil Ryu. So let's be generous to Makoto and say she's around Town Level. How does this compare to Chie's max power.
King: Well let’s be kind to Makoto for a second and scale Chie to things only in Persona 3 and 4. We'll get into Persona 5 feats later. At the end of the game, Yu Narukami and Tohru Adachi both fought the evil deity known as Hi-no-Kagutsuchi who covered Inaba in a thick fog. When Hi-no-Kagutsuchi was defeated the fog around Inaba began to disperse. Chie has fought Adachi in the past so she should scale to this. This would put Chie at around City level in terms of power without scaling to the Persona 5 cast, which is still higher than Makoto’s generous high-ball.
Void: The two fighter's difference in strength is very prominent when comparing their actual feats of strength. Makoto's only notable feat of strength is when she launched Dan Hibiki through her roof.
King: While we don't know how heavy the shadow tank is, it's still a god damn tank! Meaning it should around the same weight as a normal tank. Besides Chie's Galactic Punt at least implies that she kicked a tank into orbit! Way better than Makoto's feat.
Void: There was also a massive gap in speed. Chie scales to the android Aigis, who reacted to Nyx’s avatar beam that traveled 27% the speed of light. The best thing that the Street Fighter verse has is Bison reacting to a laser that traveled at speeds of Mach 1700. Which is impressive in its own right, but completely outclassed when compared to Chie. So did Makoto have any advantage that Chie doesn’t have?
King: Like the only thing that we can give Makoto is that she’s the better fighter of the two. Seeing how she got direct training from a Rindo-Kan master while Chie only learned Jeet Kune-Do by watching movies. But that means shit when your opponent is literally stronger than you and has way more options to kill you in any way.
Void: Correct, Makoto has zero counters to Chie's largely superior arsenal. From the start, Makoto was fighting a two on one fight thanks to Tomoe Gozen, an opponent that she never had to face before in her life. Chie can increase her own strength with abilities such as Tarukaja. Makoto had no resistance to Chie's many attacks that inflict confusion or any other status ailments. And it’s possible that Chie can one-shot Makoto with moves such as Hama and Hamaon, which have an accuracy of 40% and 60% respectively.
King: Oh yeah speaking of one-shotting Makoto, now’s a good time to showcase the P5 scaling. Let’s see… oh what’s this an attack that spanned a galaxy in seconds?
Void: Said attack traveled millions of times faster than light
King: Can we even scale Persona 4 characters to Persona 5 characters?
Void: Absolutely! The game Persona Q2, a crossover between Persona's 3,4 and 5, is in fact canon to the mainline Persona games. And the events of the game take place after the Big Bang Burger feat previously established. During the game, all characters were treated as equals, and both groups fought many similar opponents such as the Velvet Room Attendants. So it should be reasonable that the P4 characters should at least scale to that specific Persona 5 feat.
King: . . . Yeah, Makoto was pretty much dead from the start. Chie just basically had a leg up over Makoto.

"Wait what? This is my Persona. Don’t you have one also?" Chie began to question to herself.
“Nope, doesn’t excuse the fact that your Persona so cool! I-I mean how do I get one of those?”
“Then did someone throw you in here then?. . .“ Chie began thinking to herself. "Hey so uh one question before we start, what was the last thing you remembered before ending up here?"
"Huh, well there was this weird girl in a blue hat, she told me where the P-1 Grand Prix is. But we had to stop to go to someplace called Junes, next thing I knew I was here."
"Blue hat? Do you mean-"
“Hey! Hey! Don't dodge my first question. I want me one of those ‘Personas’ how’d you get yours?!” Makoto insisted on asking.
“Well, uh . . . It’s complicated really. It’s also really exhausting when I got my Persona I felt like falling apart for a few days.
"Huh, you don’t say. Well, I’ll stick with my fists, for now, I’ll see for myself if this Persona’s worth it right after this match. So show me what ya got!!!” Makoto said excitedly.
“Alright then!” Chie said with a smile on her face.
“C’mon Tomoe let’s show Makoto what we can do! Mabudyne!!!”
"Wuh oh . . ." A wide-eyed Makoto said realizing she might've screwed up.
Upon the Persona User's command, eight shards of ice formed midair around the Persona User. Said projectiles were then fired straight towards the young Street Fighter. Makoto barely had any time to react to the incoming projectiles, so the Street Fighter attempted to sidestep out of the way of the projectiles. Though three of the eight projectiles only managed to graze the Street Fighter's right shoulder and abdomen.
Attempting to catch her opponent off guard, Makoto quickly performed another Hayate and dashed, fist first, right into her opponent. Though her momentum was put to a sudden halt as her punch was blocked by Tomoe Gozen's Naginata. The young Street Fighter's eyes widened as she anticipated for what was coming for her.
Tomoe then followed with a slash attack across the martial artist's chest that sent the fighter flying down the hallway of the shadow version of Yasogami high. The Carnivore immediately followed by running full throttle towards the martial artist. As the Martial was sent flying she focused her full attention on her opponent, though the martial artist noticed something off about her opponent as she was being sent flying. Where was her Persona? It was with her just a second ago, where is it, Makoto thought to herself.
As Chie softly landed on the ground, she continued the pressure onto her opponent and performed several rapid kicks in quick succession towards the young martial artist. Makoto however, crossed her arms around her chest and blocked all incoming attacks performed by her opponent. Grunting under her teeth, Chie commanded her Persona to rush at her opponent with an underhanded slash of its Naginata, breaking Makoto's guard and sent the Street Fighter into the air.
The carnivore pursued her midair opponent by leaping up after the spunky martial artist. There the carnivore unleashed several kicks right into her opponent's gut. Each kick prevented the spunky martial artist from even touching the ground beneath the two fighters.
Chie's ended her ongoing combo by commanding her Persona to perform a vertical slash with its weapon across her Makoto's chest. The attack smashed the Makoto right into the floor beneath the two fighter's and thus a Makoto shaped hole in the ground was created as a result of the Persona's attack.
The spunky martial artist forced herself to even stand up after such a series of attacks. Her breathing began to grow heavier. Her muscles began to ache as she pushed herself to even stand. The spunky Street Fighter now covered in bruises and minor cuts along her sports gi. Her opponent, seeing that she managed to get up even after an attack quickly leaped backward with her Persona following along behind her.
“Alright. Your Persona’s cool, I’ll admit that. Maybe after this, I might want to get one for myself" Makoto said while trying to catch her breath" But I’m still pretty sure I can still beat you even without one you hear me? ” said Makoto with a cocky attitude.
“You seem sure of yourself, you still think you can go a few rounds?”
“Pfft. Do you think I’m going all out right now? I still haven’t gone all out yet, if I’m going to win I have to go all out right now.”
"Well then, let’s see how well you handle this. Tomoe Skull Cracker!" Chie commanded as Tomoe Gozen rushed right at the Spunky Martial Artist. The Persona raised it's Naginata high into the air and brought down its blade right across the martial artist's chest. Except for that the attack didn't even land, surprising the Persona User, Tomoe Gozen's strike was parried by the martial artist before the attack could land.
The Martial Artist acted fast and promptly landed a headbutt right on the Persona's face. Though the Martial Artist didn't notice, as she damaged Tomoe Gozen the Persona user recoiled from an unexpected pain in her head. As the Persona user recovered from her pain her opponent rushed at her with a crescent kick that landed straight across the Persona user's cheek. The martial artist continued the pressure as she followed her assault with several quick palm strikes that landed all across the Persona user's body. Finally, the martial artist ended her devastating combo with a Hayate that sent the Persona user flying down the hallway.
As the Carnivore landed right back on her feet, Tomoe materialized right in front of the Persona user in a flash of light. Tomoe extended its right arm outward, with its weapon in its hand, and fired several icy projectiles straight at the spunky martial artist. Makoto quickly leaped backward to avoid the first set of incoming projectiles, as Makoto dodged each projectile it would freeze a small area of the floor underneath the two fighters. Makoto avoided the next set of icy projectiles by rolling forward and jumping to the side.
As the projectiles stopped firing, Tomoe materialized behind the spunky martial artist and prepared its blade for another surprise attack. Though before the Persona's attack could land Makoto quickly dodged out of the way before the attack could land.
"heh, think you try that trick again?" Makoto said in a cocky manner before she reeled back her fist and threw a punch straight at the Persona. But before the attack could land the Persona quickly dematerialized before Makoto's attack could even land. Confused by this, Makoto looked around the area to find where the Persona had gone, then Makoto looked behind herself to see the Spunky Dragon run right at her.
Makoto quickly followed by performing two rapid punches in quick succession onto her opponent's face. Makoto performed one final punch that sent the spunky dragon flying into the air. Makoto instantly leaped right for her opponent and performed Tsurigi onto her opponent slamming her into the ground.
As Makoto landed back onto the ground she quickly ran full speed straight at her opponent who attempted to get up after Makoto's attack. The spunky dragon panicked and commanded her Persona to rush at the young Street Fighter. Though before the Persona could strike at the Street Fighter, at the last possible second Makoto ducked right under a horizontal slash attack performed by the yellow-clad Persona.
The Street Fighter quickly followed by rolling under the Persona and right toward her opponent. The Street Fighter grabbed the spunky dragon by her arms and quickly moved behind her before she had an idea as to what the Street Fighter was planning. Makoto promptly jabbed her knee right into the spunky dragon's back, which elicited a small cry of pain from the spunky dragon. Makoto then followed by throwing her opponent onto the floor and raised her fist high into the sky, which signaled to her opponent that she was going to follow up with a devastating punch.
"Protect me Tomoe!" yelled out the Persona user in desperation.
Before the martial artist could finish her attack, she was hit across the head by Tomoe's Naginata and was sent flying down the hallway of the school. As Makoto landed back on her feet she felt a sudden sharp pain enter into her head. Followed quickly by her vision started to get blurred and the world itself seemed to shake. Makoto didn't realize it at first but Tomoe had used the skill Mind Slice to give the martial artist confusion.
As Makoto's mind began to ache, in her blurred vision she can see a green blob increasingly getting larger and larger. The martial artist could barely make it out but she was positive that it was her opponent charging straight at her for one final attack.
"Get ready for the finale!!!" yelled out Chie. Now Makoto was positive that she was coming straight at her just to finish her off.
Makoto could barely make out her opponent's though her footsteps were all she can focus. The Martial Artist closes her eyes so she can focus on the light sounds of footsteps. The quick and fast footsteps of her opponent became distinct to the Martial Artist, they began to grow louder and louder as the seconds went by. As the spunky dragon comes in for the kill, the martial artist readies her left fist for a counter-attack that to her opponent. As the dragon is only inches away from her target, the martial artist strikes and aims a punch directly at her opponent's groin.
Chie's eyes widened from the sudden strike performed by her the young Street Fighter. Chie winced from the unexpected, yet humiliating, attack performed by her opponent. As Makoto reeled back her arm, Chie's legs began to tremble as the immense pain stung from the attack.
Though Chie wouldn't feel this pain any longer as Makoto readied her free hand performed two rapid punches across Chie's face. Instantly followed up with one final uppercut sending the martial artist straight up into the air at intense speeds.
"SEICHUSEN GODANZUKI!!!" Makoto yelled triumphantly as her vision began to return to her.
Shortly afterward, gravity took its course and the Chie came careening back onto the ground headfirst. But before she could even touch the ground, the Street Fighter reeled back her right fist and aimed a punch right into her opponent’s stomach. The attack propelled Chie down the hallway and caused her to land onto her left arm and resulted in her skidding across the hard wooden floor until she inevitably ran out of momentum. As she stopped she struggled to even stand upright as the pain her opponent's powerful punches still lingered throughout her body.
"Oh man, now I know how Yosuke feels," Chie complained as she began to stumble backward, while holding her left arm in her right hand to support.
“Like I said earlier, I still got plenty of fight left in me, so any trick you have left ain’t working on me!” The martial artist proudly proclaimed to her weakened opponent as the martial artist approached Chie to finish her off.
Though as the Makoto began to approach her stumbling opponent, Tomoe Gozen reappeared by the Persona user’s side. Makoto stopped dead in her tracks and returned to her combative stance, prepared for anything her opponent was about to throw at her.
“Well …” the Persona user weakly said as she formed her right hand into a fist and held it high up into the air. Tomoe followed by raising its own fist high into the air.
Instinctively signaled the Street Fighter to look up at the ceiling. Upon laying her eyes onto her opponent’s final trick her eyes widened from the sight of the attack.
“ … how about one more,” Chie said with a cocky smirk as she brought her fist downward, her Persona followed slamming its fist down onto the floor. What followed shortly was a gigantic golden fist from out of nowhere slammed right onto the young Street Fighter in less than a second.
"FUKIA-" was the last thing that came out of Makoto's mouth before the golden fist from the heavens crushed the Martial Artist. Kicking clouds of dust into the air and obscuring the Martial Artist's body a thick dusty cloud.

A sigh of relief escaped Chie’s mouth as she knowing that her fight was as good as over. Though as the dust began to settle . . .
“W-what the? Are you for real!?!” Chie yelled out as her eyes widened from her opponent's retaliation. Shortly after, Chie’s God’s Hand dematerialized leaving only a Makoto with a large smile on her mouth from pulling off such a feat.
“Your damn right I’m for real Dragon! Now let’s end this already."
The Martial Artist on the offensive charged straight forward for the still in awe spunky dragon in a single step with her fist reeled behind her back. Barely reacting to her opponent, the spunky dragon instinctively resummoned her Persona to block the incoming attack with the staff of its golden Naginata. The martial artist's fist collided with the staff of the golden weapon which slightly forced the Persona backward from the impact of the attack.
Upon the clash of the two fighters Makoto instantly took one leap backward to avoid an incoming slash performed by Tomoe Gozen. While in midair Makoto reeled back her fist to charge another, as the Makoto landed back onto the ground she launched herself fist first towards Tomoe Gozen. The Martial Artist landed a direct hit right on the Persona's opened gut. As Tomoe Gozen was hit Chie felt a similar pain right in her stomach causing the Persona user to release a grunt of pain.
Makoto didn't stop her for as she quickly jumped a great distance backward and began to run straight for the Persona. Chie struggled to even stand so she was unable to command her Persona for any counterattack. At one meter away Makoto performed a jump kick straight into the Persona's gut, which forced another painful grunt to come from the Persona user.
Cracking a quick smirk Makoto quickly kept the pressure by quickly following up with by jabbing her knee right into the Persona's gut followed by a spin kick straight across the Persona's face. Finally, Makoto finished her combo by performing an uppercut right under Tomoe Gozen's chin. The attack launched the Personna flying into the air and sent the Persona straight through the ceiling of the school hallway.
The countless blows shared by Tomoe Gozen and its user became too much for Chie to handle, as such she was forced onto one knee as she endured the pain, unable to do anything. Seizing the moment Makoto dashed straight for her weakened opponent, Makoto reeled back her fist and successfully aimed a right hook straight across her opponent's cheek. Not letting her opponent rest, Makoto followed by gripping at her opponent's green collar and unrelentingly jabbed her knee straight into her opponent's stomach multiple times, with each knee jab forced a painful grunt from the Spunky Dragon. Finally, Makoto ended her long combo by hurling her opponent by her collar right down the hallway of the school. Chie crashed right into the doors leading to the gym and upon contact with the wooden doors forced them open, which caused Chie to be sent flying into the school's gym.

"Alright did I win? Hey Bear. . . thing, I come on out I think I won." Makoto said while looking around the room for a tv screen of some kind. "Also, can I get a new tournament name also? Something like . . . Wolf's Pedigree'! Actually pretty sure that's taken. Hmm, maybe 'The Precious Heart'? Nope, that's also taken" Makoto continued to ramble as she began to exit the gym.
"Wait a minute a got one, 'The Big Boss'! Yeah, that has a ring to it!" Makoto said excitedly to her totally unoriginal stage name. Though as Makoto proceeded to exit the large gymnasium, a frozen stalactite was fired inches away from piercing her head was suddenly shot from behind her causing her blood to grow cold for only a second. Makoto quickly looked behind to see who had fired the projectile, when she turned it was none other than her opponent who weakly stood tall and confident with he yellow-clad Persona right beside her.
"Y-you're okay?" Makoto exclaimed with her eyes popping out of it's sockets.
"Yeah, I'm just bruised up in a few places, so go a few rounds. How are you?" Chie said with a small smile on her face, reassuming her combat stance.
"Well, what do you know," Makoto said with a smirk on her face, "I knew you and your Persona wouldn't go down that easily," Makoto said as she returned to her battle-ready fighting pose.
"Nothing's going to stand between me and helping out my friends. Even if I have some major bruises I'm still going to keep on fighting no matter what!" Chie asserted proudly.
". . . You know I still don't know what this tournament thing all is about. But, if that means your going to try extra harder now. Then that's Awesome." said Makoto as a smile formed on her face.
"Get ready Makoto because here's the big one! Let's go Tomoe, AGNEYASTRA!!!"
Upon shouting at the top of her lungs the Spunky dragon raised an arm and a leg high into the air, her Persona followed by raising its Naginata high into the heavens. Makoto's eyes quickly looked up to see what her opponent was up to, upon the sight of which caused Makoto's eyes to widen from the pure shock of the attack. A volley of fiery meteors rained from the sky directly toward the spunky Martial Artist. Makoto panicked and couldn't think of anything at the time and thus she was bombarded with a series of meteors. The result of the meteor's impact which emanated in an explosion which Makoto was caught in the center of.
With her opponent disorientated she was finally open to an attack, which Chie promptly took. The smoke from the previous began to clear revealing the spunky martial artist down on her knees with her karate gi covered in ash. As Makoto's strength began to return to her she was suddenly hit right underneath her chin by a roundhouse kick performed by the Spunky Dragon which launched Makoto into the air. While in midair the Martial Artist quickly positioned her body to fall safely back onto her feet, then almost immediately the martial artist rushed toward her opponent with her fist reeled behind her back.
The Spunky Dragon quickly crossed her arms together to block a flurry of punches aimed at her chest. With each punch performed applied pressure onto the Persona user's arms, with each attack pushed the spunky dragon backward by an inch. Makoto quickly mixed her approach and in a fraction of a second Makoto crouched downward and performed a sweeping motion with her right leg. At the very last possible second, the Spunky Dragon jumped upward to avoid the incoming sweeping attack.
Chie, while in midair, performed a jump kick straight right onto her opponent's face causing her to stumble backward slightly. Upon landing back onto the ground, Chie quickly followed with a spin kick aimed directly into Makoto's stomach, the attack launched the Martial Artist backward by a few meters. Makoto looked back at her opponent who at full speed ran toward her, about a meter away the spunky dragon prepared a roundhouse kick aimed directly at her opponent's chest. Makoto, with a grin on her face, easily parried the attack before the kick could land.
Despite being in a troublesome scenario, remained calm and collected as opposed to earlier events, the sight of which confused the young Street Fighter. Several meters behind the Street Fighter, Tomoe Gozen was materialized from out of nowhere catching Makoto off guard. The Persona dashed straight for its target and prepared a slash attack aimed directly toward Makoto's back. Though the martial artist, at the very last moment, used her free hand and parried the incoming attack before the Naginata could strike her.
Now having her opponent cornered, Chie immediately followed with a jump kick aimed at her opponent's chest, which forced a pained grunt out of the Martial Artist. Tomoe Gozen then rushed at its target by performing a horizontal slash followed with various vertical slashes aimed across Makoto's Chest. Tomoe Gozen continued the pressure and swung its Naginata like a baseball and swung the Martial Artist high into the air. Finally, Tomoe Gozen launched Makoto straight toward Chie, the Spunky Dragon awaited and performed a flying back kick ending the combo.
The Martial Artist was sent careening back onto the floor of the gym causing her to skid across the wooden surface. The Martial Artist stopped her momentum by planting her right fist into the ground to prevent any more skidding. The Martial Artist quickly reacted to a roundhouse kick performed by her opponent and immediately ducked to avoid the attack.
Makoto quickly attempted a surprise attack by performing a sweeping motion right underneath the Spunky Dragon's nose. Though, the attack would've been proven successful if, at the very last second, Chie avoided the incoming sweeping attack by performing backward flip kick to counterattack her opponent and knocking her flat onto the floor, reminiscent of a scene in cheesy a martial arts movie.
"Oh man, I've always wanted to do that!" said the Spunky Dragon excitedly.
Though before Chie could further be impressed by her own skills she was suddenly headbutted in the center of her face, forcing a painful yelp from the Spunky Dragon. The impact from the attack caused a hot trail of blood began to run down Chie's nose. Pissed off, Chie looked back at her opponent but became surprised as her opponent took on a slightly different appearance. Makoto's once peach skin turned a bright red, steam began to emanate from her body, and her once brown eyes turned a menacing red color. The different elements of Makoto's new menacing appearance made Chie's heart began race and made her blood go cold.
Though before Chie could further be impressed by her own skills she was suddenly headbutted in the center of her face, forcing a painful yelp from the Spunky Dragon. The impact from the attack caused a hot trail of blood began to run down Chie's nose. Pissed off, Chie looked back at her opponent but became surprised as her opponent took on a slightly different appearance. Makoto's once peach skin turned a bright red, steam began to emanate from her body, and her once brown eyes turned a menacing red color. “NOW YOU’VE GOT ME MAD!!!” Makoto roared at the top of her lungs
Thinking quickly, Chie quickly commanded Tomoe to unleash a slash attack across her opponent’s chest. Though she stood dazed as before Tomoe Gozen could even land her attack, Makoto blitzed the Persona user and delivered an uppercut sending Tomoe Gozen high into the air. Before Chie could even have the chance to call back her Persona, Makoto hurried toward her opponent and delivered a swift and powerful karate chop across her head.
Having been cornered Chie quickly crossed her arms together to defend against a combination of unrelenting punches and kicks unleashed by her opponent. Though Chie was caught off guard when from out of nowhere the enraged Street Fighter grabbed toward Chie's hair and pulled Chie's head toward herself. Makoto quickly followed by slamming her knee right into Chie's nose, Makoto then followed with a spin kick aimed directly across Chie's face, forcing a pained grunt from the Persona User.
The furious Martial Artist then all of a sudden ducked to avoid a surprise horizontal slash performed by Chie's Persona. Makoto acted quickly and performed a Fukiage right on Tomoe Gozen's chest, a pained grunt was forced out of the Persona User and quickly called back her Persona toward herself to avoid any more damage from her opponent.
The enraged Makoto quickly took this opportunity and hurriedly rushed toward her now opened opponent. As Chie attempted to regain her composure from the previous attack Makoto immediately performed a crescent kick across her opponent's face. Makoto then followed with a kick aimed directly into Chie's left knee, which caused the Persona User to fall onto her left leg. Makoto then performed a double palm strike onto her opponent's body, causing Chie to wince from the pain. The Martial Artist immediately with a myriad of rapid punches aimed across her opponent's face, the Martial Artist ended her combo with an uppercut sent straight underneath her opponent's chin sending her flying into the distance.
The enraged Makoto quickly took this opportunity and hurriedly rushed toward her now opened opponent. As Chie attempted to regain her composure from the previous attack Makoto immediately performed a crescent kick across her opponent's face. Makoto then followed with a kick aimed directly into Chie's left knee, which caused the Persona User to fall onto her left leg. Makoto then performed a double palm strike onto her opponent's body, causing Chie to wince from the pain. The Martial Artist immediately with a myriad of rapid punches aimed across her opponent's face, the Martial Artist ended her combo with an uppercut sent straight underneath her opponent's chin sending her flying into the distance.
While in midair, the feeling of lightheadedness began to take over the Spunky Dragon due to the immense power of her opponent's attacks. Chie knew she needed to end the fight now before her opponent could finish her off. As Chie crashed back onto the ground, the spunky dragon struggled to stand back upright as her opponent fastly rushed toward her to finish her off. Chie began to panic as the distance between the fighters began to become shorter as the Martial Artist became closer toward her. The gears in the Spunky dragon's mind began to go crazy to think up of a plan to stall her opponent. Then in the corner of her eye, the Spunky Dragon noticed something in the corner of her eye. A row of blue basketball storage racks that held plentifull colorful red white and blue basketballs. A smile formed on Chie's face as an idea was finally hatched in her head.
The Persona user quickly wiped the blood off her face as she quickly commanded Tomoe Gozen to bring the storage racks closer toward her, this approach ended up surprising the enraged Martial Artist and stopped her in her tracks. Makoto impatiently awaited for whatever her opponent was planning so that she could act accordingly.
"Alright, Makoto. I hope you're ready because it's time to play ball!" Chie said as she commanded her Persona to slam its weapon right into the floor of the arena. the force Tomoe's attack shook the very arena the two fighters causing both fighters to stumble uncontrollably, Tomoe's attack also sent all the resting basketballs high up into the air. There Tomoe Gozen fired each projectile one at a time at varying speeds.
"BRING IT ON!!!" Makoto shouted at the top of her lungs. Makoto parried all incoming basketballs with slight ease as the makeshift projectiles started coming one after another, giving the Martial Artist very little breathing room.
The Persona User stood watching her opponent as she dribbled a single basketball in hand. Chie decided to use this opportunity to increase her strength while her opponent was distracted. So, the Spunky Dragon threw the dribbled basketball high into the sky as she yelled, "Power Charge!!!"
A red aura began to surround the Spunky Dragon, though after a few seconds the aura changed into a reddish glow that surrounded the Spunky Dragon's body. Before the aforementioned basketball could hit the ground again, Chie performed a roundhouse kick onto the basketball and launched the makeshift projectile straight for her opponent at breakneck speeds.
Distracted by the basketballs sent by Tomoe Gozen, Makoto failed to notice the speeding basketball heading straight for her face sent by her opponent. By the time the enraged Martial Artist realized the projectile, it was too late. As the Basketball smashed right in the middle of her face. The attack made the Spunky Martial Artist grow dizzy as her mind began to ache and her vision became a blur.
"Alright Time for MY Ultimate Attack!" the Spunky Dragon yelled to herself as Tomoe was quickly summoned behind her. "The Satonaka-style DRAGON KICK!!!" Chie yelled out as her Persona launched the Martial Artist right toward her opponent, while in midair Chie extended out her left leg to perform a flying jump kick that successfully landed a direct hit right into her opponent's gut causing the Martial Artist to release a painful groan.
The Spunky Dragon continued the pressure and leaped right off her opponent and unleashed a myriad of various kicks in under a second, each passing kick left blurs of movement similar to a certain Street Fighter. Chie ended her long string of kicks by sending her dazed opponent skyward with a kick aimed right on her opponent's chest. As gravity began to take its course on the Martial Artist, the Spunky Dragon took a giant lunge forward and performed a Herculean Palm Strike right across her opponent's cheek before they could touch the ground, sending the Martial Artist crashing right into one of the walls of the replica gymnasium, which caused the wall to fall apart and crumble right onto the Martial Artist as a result from her opponent's attack.
After a few moments have passed Makoto burst out of the pile of rubble, even angrier than ever before. The enraged Martial Artist gave one demonic look right at her opponent and stared deep into her opponent's soul, though the Spunky Martial Artist barely flinched against the intimidation of her opponent.
"Okay, I have had it Up To HERE WITH YOU!!!" the enraged Makoto roared out in anger.
"Well, if you're tired then let's end this right here, right now then!!!" the Spunky Martial Artist yelled out in response
"Fine by me. Get ready then!"

"First, Warm-Up, and . . ." said Chie excitedly as she began to stretch her legs, readying herself for the finishing blow.

and struck her opponent right in her back, launching Makoto far off into the distance in less than a second. Makoto's loud scream was only heard for a brief second before Chie launched her opponent above the clouds, maybe even into outer space.

Void: Probably not. But we'll save that for later we have a job to do.King: Alright, let's get the obvious out of the way Chie had the advantage when it comes to the holy stat trinity of strength, speed, and durability.
Void: While Makoto doesn't have that many strength feats under her belt, she's rivals to Ryu at around the end of his journey in Street Fighter 3. So we can assume Makoto somewhat scales to Ryu in terms of strength.
King: During the events of SF2, the Interpol agent hit the ol' Master Bison with her strongest Kikosho that she ever made. The Result?
Void: We could scale Makoto to Evil Ryu and maybe Power of Nothingness Ryu get an even higher number, but let's face it that's a dumb thing to do and she never even fought Evil Ryu. So let's be generous to Makoto and say she's around Town Level. How does this compare to Chie's max power.
King: Well let’s be kind to Makoto for a second and scale Chie to things only in Persona 3 and 4. We'll get into Persona 5 feats later. At the end of the game, Yu Narukami and Tohru Adachi both fought the evil deity known as Hi-no-Kagutsuchi who covered Inaba in a thick fog. When Hi-no-Kagutsuchi was defeated the fog around Inaba began to disperse. Chie has fought Adachi in the past so she should scale to this. This would put Chie at around City level in terms of power without scaling to the Persona 5 cast, which is still higher than Makoto’s generous high-ball.
Void: The two fighter's difference in strength is very prominent when comparing their actual feats of strength. Makoto's only notable feat of strength is when she launched Dan Hibiki through her roof.
King: That's cute. Chie can do this.
King: While we don't know how heavy the shadow tank is, it's still a god damn tank! Meaning it should around the same weight as a normal tank. Besides Chie's Galactic Punt at least implies that she kicked a tank into orbit! Way better than Makoto's feat.
Void: There was also a massive gap in speed. Chie scales to the android Aigis, who reacted to Nyx’s avatar beam that traveled 27% the speed of light. The best thing that the Street Fighter verse has is Bison reacting to a laser that traveled at speeds of Mach 1700. Which is impressive in its own right, but completely outclassed when compared to Chie. So did Makoto have any advantage that Chie doesn’t have?
King: Like the only thing that we can give Makoto is that she’s the better fighter of the two. Seeing how she got direct training from a Rindo-Kan master while Chie only learned Jeet Kune-Do by watching movies. But that means shit when your opponent is literally stronger than you and has way more options to kill you in any way.
Void: Correct, Makoto has zero counters to Chie's largely superior arsenal. From the start, Makoto was fighting a two on one fight thanks to Tomoe Gozen, an opponent that she never had to face before in her life. Chie can increase her own strength with abilities such as Tarukaja. Makoto had no resistance to Chie's many attacks that inflict confusion or any other status ailments. And it’s possible that Chie can one-shot Makoto with moves such as Hama and Hamaon, which have an accuracy of 40% and 60% respectively.
King: Oh yeah speaking of one-shotting Makoto, now’s a good time to showcase the P5 scaling. Let’s see… oh what’s this an attack that spanned a galaxy in seconds?
Void: Said attack traveled millions of times faster than light
King: Can we even scale Persona 4 characters to Persona 5 characters?
Void: Absolutely! The game Persona Q2, a crossover between Persona's 3,4 and 5, is in fact canon to the mainline Persona games. And the events of the game take place after the Big Bang Burger feat previously established. During the game, all characters were treated as equals, and both groups fought many similar opponents such as the Velvet Room Attendants. So it should be reasonable that the P4 characters should at least scale to that specific Persona 5 feat.
King: . . . Yeah, Makoto was pretty much dead from the start. Chie just basically had a leg up over Makoto.
